Case Outcomes– Examples

  • Aggravated assault and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon dismissed after deferred disposition.  Plea to Class E driving to endanger, 30 days in jail.
  • Gross sexual  assault dismissed for plea to Class D assault, 2 days in jail, credit for time detained.
  • Gross sexual assault dismissed for plea to 2 counts Class D OUI and 1 count violation of bail conditions, 5 days in jail with credit for time detained, after deferred disposition.
  • Gross sexual assault, not guilty after jury trial.
  • Manslaughter dismissed for plea to aggravated assault, 30 days in jail, 2 years of probation.
  • Manslaughter and aggravated OUI (death) dismissed.   Reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon deferred, then dismissed for plea to Class D OUI and Class D reckless conduct, 30 days in jail.
  • Manslaughter and aggravated OUI (death) dismissed for plea to Class D OUI, 14 days in jail, 1 year probation.

  • Violation of conditions of release, Class C, based on alleged contact with felony domestic violence victim, dismissed outright based on demonstrated victim credibility issues.
