Maine Ignition Interlock Device Vendors & Installers.
The following is a list of Vendors and Installers of approved ignition interlock devices for the State of Maine, reflecting installer information available from the BMV’s website as of August 12, 2015, and cost information provided by the respective vendors in May of 2015. Those seeking license reinstatement with an installed ignition interlock device should contact the vendors and installers directly for the most current available information.

1. Consumer Safety Technology (CST), “Intoxilock,” telephone 877-777-5020. For all CST installers, installation must be arranged by calling a CST sales representative at 877-777-5020, and not through a direct call to an individual installer.
-Set up Fee: $27.50 (Cost for vendor to set up each device and ship it to installer)
-Installation: Charge is set by each individual installer, must contact directly for cost information.
-Monthly Fee: $68.95/mo. for leases 4 months or longer. $100.00/mo. plus shipping for leases less than 4 mos.
-Re-calibrations: Charge is set by each individual installer, must contact directly for cost information.*
-Removal: Charge is set by each individual installer, must contact directly for cost information.

-Setup Fee: $40.00
-Monthly Fee: $65.00
-Removal: $110.00 Total for 4 months (120 days) = $602.00
B. Interlock Device Lease of 1 year or more:
-Setup Fee: $0
-Monthly Fee: $69.00

*Maine regulations require ignition interlock device installers to service and recalibrate devices 30 days after installation and at intervals no more than 60 days thereafter. A device installed in a first offender’s vehicle will therefore require 2 recalibrations.
